Meatheads. A new fresh concept within an age-old category. Hamburgers, How does one stand out amongst all ? Truly, how many places do we actually need, especially in this economy?

Meatheads burst onto the scene and successfully created a unique and embracing environment. An atmosphere that is  fresh,hip, urban, fun, service oriented and clean.
The first Meatheads opened in Bloomington in '07, Naperville in '08 and Northbrook two weeks ago.

I am the unexpected Meatheads girlie. A high end fashion designer with a hamburger hankering . Meatheads captivated me at first glance with their concept and presentation style. I love the fact they have taken their time. I am thankful they did not rush into opening multiple restaurants immediately. I love they have been conscientious and responsible to their surroundings and most of all to us, the consumer.

The principles have listened, they have taken suggestions from the customers and continually test and incorporate new menu items. Each store blends into the community through fundraising and donations. The owners are frequently on premise, you may not be aware, but they are there.
The whole staff takes ownership in what they are doing. These qualities add to the food experience for me creating a five star experience.

The staff is well organized and efficient with their personal service and extremely engaging.  They personally greet you when you arrive, they make recommendations and bring the food to your table, which I love.

The menu, Burgers dominate, of course. The burger choices are multi-layered abstract creations, difficult to decide, I consider them to be individual works of art. They also offer a New England Hotdog, Grilled Cheese, Fresh Cut Fries and Children Meals. They have amazing milkshakes too.

FYI, ootra girl favorite order: cajun style burger with egg, fries and a coffee milkshake, which btw has grown up since its inception last year. The look, the taste and texture all improved.

I judge dining experiences by the following elements: Environment, Food Quality, Menu, Staff, Uniform, Cleanliness, Design, Community Love, and Consistency. Meatheads scores a Five Star Rating.
