Hips were twisting and arms flying as Evanstonians young and old joined in on another installment of It’s Thursday, Let’s Dance, a free weekly concert and dance lesson presented by EVMark.

Each week’s performance features a different dance style, ranging from samba to ballroom. On Aug. 13, blues band Dave Weld and the Imperial Flames took the stage at 909 Davis St. Plaza while members of Evanston’s Giordano Dance School gave dance lessons to the crowd.

It’s Thursday, Let’s Dance ends at 6:30 Aug. 20 with The Midway Ramblers performing Cajun music. For more information, go to www.evmark.org.
