Event Details:

Don't just look, see. See beneath the surface, beyond the diagnosis. See the strength, the beauty, the wisdom. Open your eyes to boundless potential. And an infinite capacity to love. And you will be touched forever.

Don't miss this traveling gallery of beautifully shot portraits by photographer Thomas Balsmo. This stunning exhibition of children and adults with Down syndrome captures their wisdom, their strength and their very essence. The project was conceived by Nancy Gianni, whose third child, GiGi, was born with Down syndrome seven years ago. Gianni is the founder of GiGi's Playhouse, the nonprofit organization based in Hoffman Estates dedicated to Down syndrome awareness, education, resources and support.
