Sheriff’s Office Arrests Man for Additional Sexual Assault Incidents

Sheriff Keith Nygren announced today the arrest of a Bull Valley area man for charges involving several incidents dating back to 1988. The arrest is the result of an investigation by the McHenry County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Bureau.Sheriff’s Office Investigators obtained an arrest warrant for Leonard W. Puccini, age 50, after conducting an investigation involving several victims. This investigation is stemming from a previous arrest of Puccini for Aggravated Criminal Sexual Abuse. The Criminal Investigations Bureau received numerous calls from other victims alleging Puccini had sexually assaulted and abused them over the course of the past twenty-two years.The investigation culminated with the arrest of Leonard W. Puccini, who turned himself into the McHenry County Adult Correctional Facility. This investigation is ongoing and additional charges may be filed.Arrested:Leonard W.
